| Treatment Overview:
We
offer treatment services for adults, youth and families. Treatment
consists of gender-specific residential treatment and outpatient
services. Youth ages 12 to 17 are treated at our Youth and Family
Center. Transitional age youth (18-24 yrs old) may be treated at
either our adult facility or our Youth and Family Center depending
on the individual.
Treatment begins with a bio-psychosocial assessment process that diagnoses and identifies the appropriate level of care needed. We offer a range of services including treatment for co-occurring disorders, residential, intensive outpatient, and group and family therapy. We provide treatment based on ASAM PPC II-R criteria (American Society of Addictions Medicine Patient Placement Criteria).
Treatment is based on a "services model" of individualized treatment, stages of change, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral approaches including dialectical behavior therapy, and community support. Progress through treatment occurs as clients achieve competencies in multiple areas that are identified in their individualized treatment plans.
Our role is to help clients through education, skill building and the development of competencies that lead to healthy lifestyles that support recovery. We help remove the barriers that prevent our clients from enjoying ongoing sobriety and assist them in understanding how the treatment and recovery process works for them to improve their lives, help create lasting, healthy support systems and make informed decisions that are in their own best interest.
