Boeing supports De Paul’s
youth treatment program
De Paul Treatment Centers received
a $5,000 gift from The Boeing Company to help
support essential elements of chemical dependency
treatment for low-income youth. The grant will
be used to help fund family counseling, recreation
therapy, art and music therapy and GED preparation
at De Paul's Youth & Family Center, located in
Northeast Portland.
"The Boeing Company's support
of De Paul Treatment Centers underscores our philosophy
that the true quality of a company is measured
not only by the integrity of its products and
services, but also by the strengths of its partnership
with the larger community," said Fred Kiga, Boeing's
vice president of State and Local Government and
Global Corporate Citizenship. "De Paul Treatment
Centers provide vital treatment services in Oregon
and we support their mission of providing needed
assistance to low-income young people."
