Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR 309-032-1520 (4)) state that “program staff, contractors, volunteers and interns recovering from a substance-use disorder, providing treatment services or peer support services in alcohol and other drug treatment programs, must be able to document continuous abstinence under independent living conditions or recovery housing for the immediate past two years”. Please review position descriptions to determine if this Oregon Administrative Rule applies to a particular position.
